I don't think Nintendo has a team JUST working on updates and ways to improve their interface, and if they do it's definitely smallish...

Their company is all about small teams. If you look at the Iwata Asks, it makes Wii Motion Plus sound like it was developed by three people in a garage. Microsoft probably has 50 engineers working full-time on Natal and they can't get a product out within a year of the leader.

Nintendo does love to work with small but dedicated teams. Small teams = low overhead costs. Their games need a long development time since they have to add something new or fresh every time. That takes a lot of experimentation and mainly time. Doing that with big teams is simply too expensive. See at the costs of FF or GTA.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

Around the Network

What fascinates me about this is why they haven't done it before. I mean, Excite Truck was streaming MP3's from the SD card from day one on the Wii. At least, i'm pretty sure it wasn't transparent copying

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Thats a question worth a million dollar, lol.

Also too, I saw a recent thread that also with GH5 they will be an end to the current structure. It's MADNESS!!! =O

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

@ Asriel & Stefan: I agree wholeheartedly! It's actually one of the things I've always liked about Nintendo, they are a Large company in essences(sp?), but behave like a small developer, lol.
