jeff...im still not sure how your comming to this conclusion..i own Wii myself...I would love better efforts on it..not have them takin away by the journalistic of today..A developer is not stupid, dumb or fags for not develing on a console( there are actually situations were they could be stupid but there rare)..period...i dont kno where ur at..now go.....im waiting for Bob

I understand what you are saying Xxain. That wasn't my agenda in making this thread though. To focus on what you were saying, companies like Valve are PC-focused, and I wouldn't imagine them making a Wii game, even though they work on the 360.

 

However, Konami didn't even release a Wii game in the past financial quarter, but still had the Wii as their most lucrative platform. So I'm curious as to why the lack of support for their 'best' system.

 

This constant questioning of WHY companies are making Wii games is annoying though.

i think that the media is really unfair when it comes to wii games. but come on guys, just cause a developer doesn't make games for wii does not make them a bad company. why do they HAVE to make a wii game? to make money? look at all those great games on wii with poor sales, should they stop making wii games cause it "doesnt" make them money? apparently money is the most important thing... unless its on wii, then its ok not too make too much.

@ Savior - before I read Jeff and Bobs ridiculous post...i was gonna agree..dude we have to understand a large chuck of the industry does not like the Wii or Nintendo agenda this gen..its simple as that...thats y i tend not to use reviews sites for Wii...I just get a wat I kno i like and thats it, but there are case where u( especially U and Arius) guys overeact...journalist say hey do u have intention on bringing _______ to _______, it happens with every console( do I have to remind u of the MGS4 to 360 question every interview??)

The problem is because I often don't see this situation in reverse; "Will you bring Batman to the Wii?" "Will you bring etc?"

 

Not much point in asking, but then I always hear it. Not soon after the question is asked, these same "reporters" if you will, turn around and criticize the Wii's library. I'm not overreacting- I'm not losing sleep or irrationally bring up this topic in every thread I post in, but I'm just acknowledging this needless habit of questioning and instigating.

 

Metal Gear Solid I understand, because they want it to go from one HD console to the other. But then you have the, "this could've been better on the 360" line for Wii games that is just dumb.

hmmmmmm...i will give that Savior..i dont recall any HD to Wii comments...hmm..I didnt realize that till now, but the could it have been betrer here comments..do you mean sells or it could just be a better game in general???

I think this may be down to the fact that Konami publishes Hudson Soft titles, and that I bought 1,000 copies of Kororinpa.

It depends. Games like Madworld "should've been on the 360" because the 'hardcore' audience would've bought more copies.

Games like....No More Heroes, just for example,  "should've been on the 360" because of the graphical presentation alone.

 

It is a lose-lose situation for the Wii in these cases.

I think this may be down to the fact that Konami publishes Hudson Soft titles, and that I bought 1,000 copies of Kororinpa.

I wasn't aware of that. If that is the case, there is a reason to their sales besides the legs of old Wii games.  As for Kororinpa, lol

Hell no..NMH and MW sold less on PS360, hell its cuz they were on the wii they got that type of attention, IMO they would of been largely ignored on PS360
