Forums - Nintendo - Wii specs really true?

Nintendo don't like answers. :)

HVS really sounds like the new Factor 5. What HVS needs is to work for Nintendo. But more on topic, ain't there more then one rumored Wii spec sheet out there that are somewhat similar?

I have been hearing just some dev  checked the wii specs and that is what he got. I mean are they really true because I heard something about HVS was able to find extra Ram on the Wii.

they didnt literally find extra ram.

the way HVS have developed and updated the Quantum3 engine has allowed them to free up ram.

devs know what the Wii specs are but i assume Nintendo said they arent allowed to give specific details.

those that can't take advantage of the hardware architecture say it's a gamecube plus or is weaker than the original xbox.

those that can say its capable of much more.

^This....and nothing more.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

@Ryudo That is technically false. It should be Ram is Memory. Not all Memory is Ram.

It depends on what kind of memory you're talking about. What's kept on the hard drive is considered memory or just data, and RAM is "random access memory".

And also, this thread creator is one of the most obnoxious members on this site. It's like he's trolling with his stupidity and he doesn't even know it. Please give us some specifics. Although I think the Wii's RAM is somewhere around 24 mb main ram, and 30 something tacked on RAM. I'd have to look it up again to be sure.

What?
