I know what you mean. Back when I used to use the site nearly all the multiplat news and links I clicked on lead to the 360 page. Rarely would it go to the PS3 page...

Howcome 1up is able to get a big scoop on Uncharted 2 but IGN isnt? Howcome IGN has very little info on the biggest exclusive Ps3 game coming up? It's obvious. IGN only features games that pay the site to feature them.

Its probably just partly marketing for the game in quest and partly the fact that since its a western site the 360 versions are more important generally because they sell better, thus theirs probably more demand from the sites users.
