Keep in mind guys, that the director is much more important than the producer. But, with a producer like Speilberg, they will be able to get a damn fine director.

yea like he did with Michael Bay for tranformers 1 & 2 and the Island

again no thanks

So what were you expecting from a movie based on toys that transform between human vehicles and humanoid shaped robots?  For something like that, you get a director known for blowing shit up with style.  And that is who Michael Bay is.

And Speilberg did not produce The Island, thank you very much.

EDIT:  And if Bay did Halo, it would be a garaunteed box office success.  Mainly because the trailer alone.  Bay, explosions, Halo music, and Master Chief would make for the most epic trailer ever.  As for the actual quality of the film, that would be up in the air.

I don't remember Transformers pissing on dogs in my childhood.

I dont either...but the first one was good....the last one...not so much....

and who says it'll be Bay?

And the idiot who said War of the Worlds was a bad movie.....that was a near perfect movie...the only thing that brought it down was the ending and I wish he hadnt gone that way( the aliens being defeated I understand if u ever listen to the play or watch teh first movie...but Robbie living....really? U let the annoying kid live?). Indy 4 is forgiveable cuz standalone it's still a good film. With the Indy franchise u can thank Lucas' meddling for that.

I just want to see an awesome Halo movie already!!!

PREDICTIONS:
(Predicted on 5/31/11) END of 2011 Sales - Xbox 360 = 62M;  PS3 = 59M;  Wii = 97M

Fingers crossed he will bring Michael Bay.

I have just one thing to say about Indy 4. Nuking the Fridge.
