The Jasper revision, like any other piece of electronic equipment, is still subject to failure. If you poll enough people, you'll find some who have had to ship theirs back.

But what's important is that the revision greatly reduced that percentage of failures over the Falcon, which itself was a big improvement over the Zephyr.

If you still have a working Xenon, I'd either assume it's rarely used (or no longer being used), or you have a rare sample that actually performed as intended, but not as designed, being fundamentally flawed (wrong solder, insufficient cooling system).

More games, higher rate of use = higher rate of burn out failure.

I keep intending to do a lengthy play session burn test with my Zephyr, but it just doesn't see enough use to develop an RRoD.

It was the same 360 both times, though. I sold it and got a 60gig Jasper back in February. I don't think I will have anymore problems for quite a while.

I've gotten an Arcade December 2008, with 0 RRODs or 0 errors of any kind.

once, which happened a week ago. it was the E74, and yeh i played it a lot but i doubt that had anything to do with it because it happened after 2 years almost.

Once.  And the new one that they sent back to me was pretty much on solid for half a year, and its still running fine.
