I agree as far as making the better RPG's.  However, Bioware sucks at supporting their games post launch with DLC.  I'm hoping that dragon age will change that, they are at least talking about it a lot more.

The reason I want developers to be more like Bethesda is that Bethesda is awesome at releasing lots of quality DLC for their games post launch.  Basically expanding their huge games even more.

Am I the only person thats overwhelmed by bethesda games? Because the open worlds are too much for me and I hate playing a game with the feeling that I'm skipping or missing so much. Thats why I never got into Oblivion or Fallout3

I am the black sheep     "of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong."-Robert Anton Wilson

Ignore the haters.

Oblivion, Fallout 3, Todd Howard, Bethesda and their DLC are the best things that happend in gaming.

That's an interesting argument. I don't think you are alone.

But isn't that an issue in real life too? The world around you is an open world with so many opportunities of which you will miss the vast majority.

Huh? Bethesda has one of the worst reputations from DLC! Their DLC is unbelievably overpriced. Doesn't everyone remember Horse Armor?!

And from Fallout 3, their DLC should've been priced around 5$, because that's as much as they're giving, and let's face it, so far it's been very disappointing.

WTH, their DLC's for Fallout's could almost be whole new games with the amount of content they are giving.  5 bucks for 10+ hours of gameplay???

The horse armor was like the first DLC of this gen and nobody really knew what the pricing structures should be.  The rest of the Oblivion content is priced well, and Fallout 3 DLC is a huge value for what you are getting.

I think I just realized that Shio knows absolutely nothing about what he talks about.

I guess that is the difference between you and I.  I would much prefer to just buy a superior RPG than I would have access to an unrelenting stream of DLC for a boring, plodding game.

Tell us what's a superior RPG in your opinion. Name your favorites.

Read what I quoted.  He said that he even thinks Bioware makes superior games to Bethesda, but wishes more companies were like Bethesda on the DLC front.  I was saying that, given that choice, I would take the superior game to DLC for the inferior game.
