I wish more developers were like Bethsda.
Specifically in the area of post launch support with DLC. Honestly, Oblivion and Fallout 3 have some of the best DLC out there. Fallout 3 hasn't even been out a year and it has had 5 massive DLC's come out for it. I have spent almost as much on DLC as I spent on the game, and I'm loving every minute of it because Bethesda makes it worth your money.
Bungie does pretty good with all their map packs, and a few other companies like epic do pretty well, but I would say the vast majority of developers suck at DLC. Take Fable 2 and Mass effect for instance, their DLC's suck. Fable 2's are just a plain rip off and mass effect had one tiny DLC and thats it. Then their are games that nickle and dime you like little big planet (that games DLC drives me nuts).
So my question is... why can't developers be more like Bethesda? It is obviously paying off for bethesda, they are making a butt load of money. Their DLC is top notch and worth every penny... so why can't other developers do this?
