But...But Wii cannot sell software !

Some Wii software has actually been selling better recently, like No More Heroes. It sold 2k worldwide this week, as opposed to the ~500-1,000 it was usually averaging in the spring.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Endless Ocean still sits at 950k. Has been there for ages.

If no more titles were released this year, it is likely that Nintendo would end with the entire top 10 for the year.

They already have the top 6, so all that would be needed is for 5 titles to beat the Resident Evils. Neither of them are likely to beat 3M, or even 2.75M, but MKDS, Wii Sports Resort and NSMB are certain to. In addition, EA Sports Active is fairly certain to, and Professor Layton and Brain Training both have good chances at it.

But for what the actual top 10 will end at, I'm not sure. It seems unlikely that any title, save possibly the new COD, will break 5M. That means that Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii, Wii Play and Wii Sports Resort all are close to certain to finish in the top 5. Pokemon Platinum should finish 6th. This is actually pretty certain.

Now, from 7th-10th it is a bit harder to predict. COD4 sold 4M in its launch year, and I guess it is likely for the new one to slightly outedge that. 4-5M seems likely. Now, where will Dragon Quest 10 end? I'd put it at around 4M, which will put if below the X360 CoD, and on-par with the Ps3 one.

If we look at MKDS, it's up 14% YoY so far, and it ended at 4.4M last year. It is likely to end in the same area as the X360 CoD, and above the Ps3 one.  The situation is the same for NSMB.

So, I'd put the top 10 so far at

1. Wii Sports
2. Wii Fit - 12-13M
3. Mario Kart Wii - 8-9M
3. Wii Play - 8-9M
5. Wii Sports Resort -  6-8M?
6. Pokemon Platinum - 5-7M
7. CoDX360 - 4-5M
7. MKDS - 4-5M
7. NSMB - 4-5M
10. EASports Active/CoDPs3

Now, as an attempt to hijack this thread (Sorry, OP, but this thread won't go anywhere), I'll ask you:

What will the top 10 at the end of the year be?

The ones I have posted also exclude NSMB Wii, which could easily end in the top.

No. Nintendo along with EA, Capcom and SE did.

Pixel Art can be fun.
