And more the reason that Activision is taking EA's place of hated huge company.

I don't see how their pricing is much worse than EA's though. I just saw the poster for the Rock Band Beatles full band set and the fucking thing costs $250.

Well, I'm not saying this just because of their pricing. Many others things factor into my feelings than just this.

I never said you were. However, you said "more the reason that Activision is taking EA's place of hated huge company", meaning you think they are putting forth a worse pricing structure. I was merely offering a counter argument to that.

Well, wasn't GH:WT more expensive than Rock Band? They're already putting a 55 pound price tag on Modern Warfare 2.

Not where you and I live. They both originally retailed for $189.99 for the HD twins and $10 cheaper for the Wii and PS2.

That is so outrageous I just refuse to believe it. So sorry.

I thought maybe the price hike was because they were throwing in a second guitar for the full band experience, but nope. One bass guitar, one drum set and one mic with mic stand. If this is your first venture into rhythm games, you'll still need to buy another guitar for 4-player and it will defeat the purpose of buying a Beatles specific band set in the first place since the one guitar won't match.

But it comes with a mic stand and special content!!!!!!

I don't believe so, but if it was then it's especially egregious how they took basically the same core setup of game and instruments and hiked the price up $80 more for the Beatles game.

While I've been off the Guitar Hero craze after the second one, I can't say I'm eager to spend anywhere near that much money to play a game like that again and having them raise the price wouldn't help.

Even though I already plan on renting it for the consoles, I wasn't that excited to hear that they rose the price of the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 by $10.

And to think activision used to be one of my favorite publishers. Now they are EA.
