It's true that the Sony PR engine is in overdrive...but look at the competition they have this time round. Then again as been said before no one is interested in the geek stuff, just playing it and ease of use (for most). Also the price point is amassive factor to take into account. That being said I never thought it would sell more than the Dreamcast when it first launched with a price tag of your average monthly mortgage in the UK.

When it comes to 360vsPs3 stuff, I have a friend that swears by the ps3.


It's one thing to see ignorant fanboy posts on a forum, but seeing them in action in person......it's kinda sad. I'm cool with this guy n all (middleschool friend), but he's a tard sometimes. He likes to attach himself to brands even if it means getting ripped off, and always tries to back them up.

I've been tellin him I might sell my ps3 for a 360 (cause he might buy it)....the last time I brought it up, he asked "what games are you even gonna play??". The irony is that he's been stuck playin CoD5 since release since he hates just about every other game. He didn't even give MGS4 a try when I offered to let him borrow it =/

Console fanboys exist in real life? I thought they are just pretend fanboys trolling on forums for attention and to annoy people because they are bored.

Haha same here, this is the progression in stages...

1st: The Xbox 360 is previous generation stuff.

2nd: He thought the Xbox 360 was the PS3 because Gears 2 on my 53" looked too good for a 'last gen console'

3rd: I lent him my 2nd Xbox 360 because he was too poor to afford any next gen console, and finally he likes it.

I have a feeling that the more Xbox 360s are out there, the more people see its a legitimately good console first hand then there will be more people who will consider it.
