Call of Duty Modern Wiifit

Kind of makes sense in a stupid Activision kind of way. MW2 is mostly going to sell to MW1 owners, so there's not necessarily much of a Wii audience for MW2, so they'll try and build it up with MW1. Maybe port over MW2 for next fall, and then catch MW3 in time with the other platforms in two years.

I give it 50:50 odds.

Half of me wants to say: Call of Duty: World at War was a huge success because it generated a nice profit. COD4:MW will be much more successful.

Half of me wants to say: Call of Duty: World at War was a low quality port and Activision is still not taking the Wii seriously. This is just a rumor generated to see who is naive enough to believe it.

Are we even sure Kotaku is reporting this right? What if it's all a big mistake...

I said in another thread that it would be epic if a PS2 version was in the works as well.

First Pro Evo, then Rock Band, now MW. Things are looking very bright for us Wii owners >_>

I really would much prefer a build from Ground Modern Warfare Wii game ,not just a port of Cod 4 or MW II.

World at War on PS2 was a completely different game so it would be doubtful that PS2 gets a direct port of MW.

Hyperion, it's a start.  Bard and I both had spoken with people within IW and Treyarch that made us adamant that something was coming.   Seeing that development was given to Treyarch makes sense as to why I couldn't get anymore info out of IW other than acknowledgment that character models from MW2 had been placed in a Wii file....though it was apparently MW, not MW2 unless that's in development as well and I dont' see why it wouldn't be now or at some point if MW now that MW is alledgedly on its way.

It also gives reason why Activision would always tell me, "We have nothing to announce at this time" when questioned about the series on Wii instead of a solid answer either way.
