Grand Slam Tennis will only be debuting on the Wii this year, according to EA Sports leader Peter Moore's comments during Electronic Arts' first quarter financial results call. EA Sports is diverting resources from teams working on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions in order to work on an expansion pack for EA Sports Active.

Previously, EA had indicated Grand Slam Tennis would arrive on other platforms this fall. The expansion pack for EA Sports Active is scheduled for release later this year.

Pyro how would this game be playable only with a camera?

I can see this being released for the Sony Motion control, but not for Natal. It simply can't have a control scheme.

I guess EA are getting really serious about Wii development. After nearly 2 million copies of EA Sports Active being sold, I can't say I blame them. If EA can carve out a good amount of fans from the Wii userbase they may just be setting themselves up very nicely for next gen.

No, theyre serious about the best selling EA game for the yr getting an expansion/sequel. This and WF+ are going to be huge for christmas.
