Forums - Nintendo - Call of Duty is comming to Wii this November

Are you kidding me. Activision can't honestly espect this game to sell. On top of it being a 2 year port, they are releasing when its sequel comes out. Unless they are imprementing the multiplayer from Modern Warfare 2, I don't see why any Wii owner would want this, when World of War is available.

is this a good game? If so I am happy as I did not play the PC version

What a bunch crap.

This is what's going to happen: MW 2 cuts hard in the sales of MW 1 wii and then activision will conclude that the wii doesn't sell wargames at all. And the wii can't win, again.

In the wilderness we go alone with our new knowledge and strength.

It will be interesting so see how this port does at retail.

At the end of the day I see 2 possible outcomes:-

1) this port does well, in which case CoD:MW2 will be released when the HD twins get CoD:MW3

2) if this port fails, then it justifies IW logic that their games don't sell on the wii, so when CoD:MW3 comes out for the HD twins the wii gets nothing.

The wild card is Treyarch, and how well they port the game.

Maybe CoD:MW2 will be ported to the wii the next year. :S

:)

I am hoping there will be more modes and such. Definitely picking this up. Great game on my PC. Great game on my Wii.

You're talking about a company that spent millions of dollars to develop this:

They don't make much sense sometimes

Wow, it's incredible that with such poor third party support the wii is still killing the other two consoles sales wise.

I'm sorry, but you can enjoy those sales along with that 2 year old port all you want, while the rest of us simply enjoy CoD:MW2.

Are you telling me I'm not allowed to pick up modern warfare 2?

I'm just stating a fact, sales of the wii are very good despite still receiving poor third party support. I'm pretty sure you would agree with that.

am I the only one uber-excited for this????

You picking this up Paul?
