So recently I discovered a singer from the UK named Tinchy Stryder and apparently the type of music he does is called grim (I dunno why, it seems to be just hip hop but I guess the techno rhythms is what changes the genre) and I'm digging it a lot. I have also heard other groups like N-Dubz and Taio Cruz but with youtube I seem to get stuck with only those artists or other non-related bands. Could you point me to other popular artists or good songs in this grime genre?

Grim? Don't you mean Grime?...oh wait you do, looks like a typo. Grime is doing well lately here because it can easily border on pop and hit mainstream.

I myself am not into it but if said artists produce a good song, then I won't not listen to good music.

Main ones to be noted are Kano, Lady Sovereign, Lethal Bizzle, The Streets and Dizzee Rascal (from this list above), most of these have produced some great music. I've only heard about a few of the other but not enough to make a judgement.
