Braid creator Jonathan Blow has confirmed his new game as The Witness, and reveals on the teaser website that the game will be released on multiple platforms in late 2011.

Blow has describes the game as "very visual" and "once we have developed those visuals to the point where they are representative, I’ll start posting them there."

The Witness will be an exploration-puzzle game on an uninhabited island. More details are expected soon.

i havent' played braid yet since it isn't on psn yet but still exciting news.

I'm already sold.

Jonathan Blow has built up a tremendous amount of goodwill with me due to how good Braid was.

This game is a definite day 1 purchase.

And you don't have a PC?

Late 2011, did I read that right? If so the development time fo this game is longer than some full blown console games...

Maybe it's not a digital game.

Cool. I think Braid was kind of overrated (not bad, though), but this sounds good. If it keeps my interest I will most likely pick it up.
