Forums - Nintendo - 12th Movie Arceus unlocks event in English Platinum: PROOF with pictures!

My friend on Final Fantasy XI, Iyaka, traded me an Arceus that she got from the 12th Movie in Japan. This happened awhile ago and I tried posting this "proof" on the Serebii Forums, but the mods are a bunch of snobs and they have to approve of threads before posting it, so...

Anyways, this totally confirms that the 12th Movie Arceus CAN unlock the Hiker event in Platinum, which leads me to believe that the Japanese Arceus can also be used in the English HeartGold and SoulSilver games as well.

http://www.serebii.net/platinum/arceus.shtml

These are the pictures I took with my DSi to my DSLite having the Platinum game in it.

Obviously this even continues in the Canalave Library with the same Hiker. And looking at the link from Serebii.net, the translation they have from the Japanese Platinum is a direct translation of the one in the English! I was quite shocked when I saw that. Oh, and I traded a Slowpoke from Pearl, in case you were wondering. I only have 5 Badges so far.

So what does everyone else think? I think my friend Iyaka had soft-resetted with that Green Delivery Man in a Poke Mart to get that nature. I tried the IV Calculator on Serebii's website and it's a legit one, but I don't think my friend Iyaka would hack something like this.

*bump* Seriously, why hasn't anyone viewed or posted on this? I posted this thread to show you forum users what I got from my friend in Japan PLUS to show that a Japanese Pokemon can unlock an event in an English game :(

Will wait for North American Arceus. :P Darkrai event goes on until mid September, so don't forget to get him Platinum users. :D

What about us Elvaan?? We can lift our Great Swords higher than a Taru-Taru can raise a wand.

The Darkrai event is simple; log onto any Wi-Fi hotspot and go to Mystery Gift to download from WFC, and you get the Member's Card to access a hotel in Canalave City, which there's a person who tells you to go to sleep in the bed, and then you wake up on Newmoon Island and encounter a Darkrai. It's ONLY accessable after you get the National Dex and get the Lunar Wing from Full Moon Island.

What system were you playing FF11 on?

I'll explain it a bit more.

You don't need anything to get the Member Card, except the 1st badge and access to the Jubliffe City TV Station.  Head to Jubliffe TV, and go to the 3rd floor, talk to the guy on the left.  He asks you for your opinion, and you say Everyone Happy, then Wi-Fi Connection.  He'll rabble, save and reload your game, at the start of the screen it'll have Mystery Gift option.  Click it, download the Member Card, load your game and go to ANY pokemart and you'll see a green suited guy, he'll give you the card.   Please note, this is ONLY for platinum and North America.

After that, it's as Diabolos said, National Dex, Cresselia event, then rock Darkrai on Newmoon Island.  He's a bitch, so a Honchkrow to avoid sleep, or masterball will be your best bet, or get him to sleep first.  I'm personally going to use my Master Ball and aim for a the best nature and good IVs, may take a lot of resetting, but will be worth it later. :)
