According to Famitsu the Dsi broke the 3 million units sold with the release of Dragon Quest IX

According to Famitsu, 3,062,920 DSi (as of 2nd Aug) were sold. Famitsu says its the work of Dragon Quest 9 and the red DSi

Overall DS sales (include DS and DSlite) in Japan = 27 million+

WoW, that means the remodel has almost outsold the PS3, and almost halfway to Wii already.
