FF1 is frustrating and hard.

is the ps1 version of final fanatasy 1 toned down? because i only have ps1 version and i played it on normal mode and it is hard as hell

The port of FF1 one PS1 is the same game...the remakes FF 1-6 advance and FF DS's are easier...The PS1 ports of FF 1-6 are the original just updated graphics sound interface ext

HAHA i remember playing final fantasy 8 for the first time and i didn't know how to junction until the 3rd disk where you fought oden and had to avoid the random battles *sigh*, lets just say i thought ff8 was hard as shit, and then i played it through again afterwards and now i think it was the easiest final fantasy game ever

original ff4 was hard as balls, things cost so much that the only way you could survive through the game was to grind

ff3 was pretty hard too, but thats just because save points are so sparse

FF4 DS actually increased the difficulty compared to the US version of the original by quite a large margin.
