Forums - Gaming - Each Consoles Biggest Problem

I knew to wait this generation for a little while. I'm glad I did. It later reaffirmed my wise choice of HD console (Xbox 360), and later my casual Nintendo Wii.

Everyone needs to play Lost Odyssey! Any opposition to this and I will have to just say, "If it's a fight you want, you got it!"

wii's problem is the insuficency of high quality titles released in a consisten frame of time, enough to keep the sales up.

360 - Speed of the dashboard...
PS3 - The console has yet to really live up to the hype... Multiplatform games are the same with very few exceptions, features and games are announced years before they actually ship, and many of the hyped saviours turned out to be phantoms... Home, LBP, KZ2, etc.
Wii - LastGen hardware with a NextGen controller and AAA 3rd party support.

I think the new update will hopefully improve the speed. It's not unbearable, but even I admit it's annoying at times. It's probably something that can be fixed in the near future.

i don't know what the fail rate of the 360 is now but its clearly no where near what it was.

Yep, i'm a girl

PS3: First party doesn't have a good brand identity. They have a bunch of good games but they don't make the most of it.

It's around 10% I think.

i've had my new xbox for over a year and no problems, i thought it was invincible, until i got the E74 just a few days ago. Hardware failure still exists with xbox's. i didnt think this before but now i can say easily that this is MS's biggest problem.

the ps3's problem is that its not what we all thought it would be, multiplats are about the same as their 360 counterparts. Sony made us believe that it was technically going to be the greatest thing ever you can play games on. instead it has about the same graphics as 360's and for double the price.

the wii's biggest problem will always be lack of 3rd part support. but IMO, i dont think thats all that bad because you can just buy a Ps3 or Xbox for games like Call of Duty and Resident Evil. Nintendo will always have their 1st parties.

360's biggest problems: Wii and PS3.

PS3's biggest problems: Wii and 360.

Wii's biggest problem: "Where do we put all this money?"

I'd say issue with Wii is that many games fail to really exploit the controls and it doesn't play DVDs. The storage is a genuine niggle but not a major one for many I suspect.

360 the main issue has been reliability and its perception as a shooterbox.

PS3 the main issue I believe has been price and slowness of big franchises to release.

So in the main I'd agree with your points.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
