There are too many variables. Are they going to be more expensive, cheaper? What month? It would be different in NOvember instead of January.

Until these questions are answered I can not give a educated guess

Sales wouldn't drop merely due to the rumor. If the rumors are true, stock will be depleting rapidly and PS3s become harder to find, leading to lower weekly sales.
