Forums - Sony - GT5 Will Be Out December 11th 2009 In Europe?.... I think So

Gran Turismo 5 for Christmas!

If Sony continues to maintain the uncertainty around the release of Gran Turismo 5, sources from the distribution indicate that the game of Polyphony Digital released on 11 December.

Kazunori Yamauchi has stated during an interview on GT PSP: Gran Turismo 5 is finished and he can leave when he wants.  Intrigued by this announcement, we surveyed the distribution and sources have indicated that the projected release date for Gran Turismo 5 would be December 11.  If it remains, according to our sources, apparently still a slight hesitation at Sony, everything indicates that the manufacturer should formalize this date at its conference in the gamescom Cologne. Interviewed by us, representatives from Sony have refused to comment on.  For more details on this information, we invite you to watch our show, L'Hebdo, which lies on this subject.

Updated:
Our information seems to be confirmed as the online store of the game also teaches an exit at 11 December: www.game.fr/acatalog/GRAN_TURISMO_5_PLAYSTATION_3.html

December 11th, now that would be a coincidence. Eleven years ago in Europe another highly anticipated game was released on that same exact date for another console that fell from grace.

If this rumor is true, then it's just another case in which Sony copies Nintendo.

That game is a masterpiece

unlike its sequel...

Wowowweewow

I hope its true

It's the other way around.

You guys are crazy.  Both games are the two greatest games of all time.

OT: This fits with the Japanese release dates for GTs.  GT1, GT2, GT4P, GT4, and GT5P all released in December in Japan.  GT3 was the only exception.

The only difference here is that they're doing a simultaneous worldwide release, like with GT PSP.

if it was true gt5 with a ps3 slim will destroy all its competitors this holiday season.
theres just too many games next year so i dont kno how they can squeeze gt5 next year with gow3 and final fantasy i just hope it comes out this year it would be my best christmast present.

.... And.... the US?
