I can't believe how much they changed it, the story didn't match at ALL. maybe 5% of what was shown is correct, but if you watch it don't expect to see a Dragonball movie. It is something completely different.

i know! it was a total disgrace to the Dragonball name

i haven't seen it yet but from the trailers i could see the only thing they got right was the names

Yea I saw it in theatres in Japan where Dragonball is a big deal. There was like 7 of gaijin including myself and maybe 7 japanese there. It got horrible reviews over there. I still can't believe how bad it was. Thank god for Yamcha though. His comic relief and his awesome backstory was it's only saving grace.

I know.. I can't even describe how awful it was. I had to see it though because I am a big Dragonball/DBZ fan.

About the only thing that was right is that Goku lived with his grandfather, thats about it.

And at first I thought that Piccolo was Emperor Pilaf and that chick was that girl that helped him track down the dragonballs.

But then I found out it was Piccolo, who the hell was the girl?

Yeah. Why the makers of DBZ allowed such a movie to carry the DBZ name is beyond me. THe movie was terrible on every level imaginable.

They should just stick to anime, just doesn't look right with real people.
