I guessed Edge's Wii Sports Resort score based on the preview last month, I thought 6 was a fair bet.

I'm more interested in what they say about the game though, and what they have to say about MotionPlus.

EDIT: As I typed that, my copy of Edge was delivered. I just read the review; they described Wuhu Island as charmless, said that the game has moments of greatness but 2/3 of the game is shallow, basically. They enjoyed table tennis, swordplay, bowling, golf and canoeing. They also thought that compared to the Wiimote, MotionPlus overly complicates Nintendo's vision of accessible gaming because (according to them) it requires frequent recalibration. They thought the air sports games were dull, wakeboarding shallow, cycling had poor controls, and power cruising was just a tilt to steer game that unnecessarily uses the nunchuck. They didn't mention the excellent water physics >_>

I don't think it's a great review. I understand some of the complaints, but I think the complaint about Wuhu Island is a load of crap, to be honest. They finished the review by stating that Sports Resort is controlling about how much fun you should have with it. Make of that what you will.

As a side note, I've noticed Edge becoming more and more disgruntled with Nintendo lately. Have any other Edge readers noticed that?

"Sports Resort is controlling, and even solemn, about just how much fun you should be having with it. And that's a development that should chill every Wii owner to the bone."

Blueberry Garden got a 5 :) That's pretty good coming from Edge.

This is invisible text!

I missed out a couple of things from the review, Basketball they did not like, they thought no use of the nunchuck was lazy, and they found archery enjoyable.

As I went through it, they seemed more positive about the game in the captions around the actual text, you know, the captions next to screen shots.

best score is an Iphone game ^^

(tired it and didn't like it much... you tilt the screen to make balls move and you also make them jump.... interesting but I found the demo booring).

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO

air sports is one of the best games there! yeah sky diving isnt that great but island flyover is like my favourite mode alongside showdowm plus dogifght is the best simultaneous multiplayer rmode there

What does that phrase "controlling... about how much fun you should be having with it" even mean? Seriously, I can't get my head around that one.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

LocoRoco: 7/10
LocoRoco 2: 7/10
Rolando 2: 9/10

Bunch of retards.
