I guessed Edge's Wii Sports Resort score based on the preview last month, I thought 6 was a fair bet.
I'm more interested in what they say about the game though, and what they have to say about MotionPlus.
EDIT: As I typed that, my copy of Edge was delivered. I just read the review; they described Wuhu Island as charmless, said that the game has moments of greatness but 2/3 of the game is shallow, basically. They enjoyed table tennis, swordplay, bowling, golf and canoeing. They also thought that compared to the Wiimote, MotionPlus overly complicates Nintendo's vision of accessible gaming because (according to them) it requires frequent recalibration. They thought the air sports games were dull, wakeboarding shallow, cycling had poor controls, and power cruising was just a tilt to steer game that unnecessarily uses the nunchuck. They didn't mention the excellent water physics >_>
I don't think it's a great review. I understand some of the complaints, but I think the complaint about Wuhu Island is a load of crap, to be honest. They finished the review by stating that Sports Resort is controlling about how much fun you should have with it. Make of that what you will.
As a side note, I've noticed Edge becoming more and more disgruntled with Nintendo lately. Have any other Edge readers noticed that?
