Kinda funny that the best game Square Enix will ever publish is an RTS.
FF/DQ fanboys don't hurt me!

cause it was shitty game?
my friend bought this game new for 60$ and i was with him when he played it for the first time - so far the worst console game i played this gen. i can't believe they actually making sequel for 360. dunno if pc version was the same but, if it was then pc gaming this gen is really sad.

That's quite an assumption to make. It most assuredly was not, and was by far my favorite PC game released in 2007. I haven't played a better PC game since.
Given the immense scale of the game, it is extremely ram intensive - moreso than any other RTS I've ever played. It would often break the 2gb limit on XP and cause my PC to crash before I hacked my registry. Why they even bothered with a console version is beyond me. 512mb of ram that isn't even dedicated to the CPU isn't near enough to handle a game like this.
I built my PC half a year after the 360 came out, and had 2gb of system ram and another 512mb for my GPU and my PC would chug on a mere 2v2 once we started topping 1000 units each.
I working on upgrading my PC just for the sequel, probably around October to coincide with the launch of Windows 7. Hopefully SupCom 2 won't hit too far after that. I don't want to end up in a similar situation like I did with the first =/.

I am not getting my hopes up about these games, they seem to be taking forever

The most interesting part? PC is the most supported platform by Square-Enix: |
Well of course. Otherwise why would you have posted this?
So lame lineup - it can be summarised with FF XIII, KH and bunch of nothing.
edit: and dissidia but we already know everything about it.
