Forums - Sales - The second part of the console race

All depends on their prices lol
Natal has more appeal because of the innovation, etc. however
Then again, we don't know the price and could be a lot more expensive than other consoles by next year

I don't think you can predict anything right now, especially when there isnt even a slim confirmed (I know..) and Natal is over a year away

Releasing at $299 appeals to people who couldnt afford the $399 LOL.

That's not a new demographic...

Former something....

Ps3 Slim vs. Xbox 360Natal

This time Sony gets the jump on MS, and has their product out with a headstart. Both companies re-releasing the consoles to rejuvenate interest as well as appeal to new demographic.

What do you think will sell better...Ps3 Slim or 360 Natal??

For those times when hope doesn't cut it anymore, there's dellusion to the rescue.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Probably Natal. They generated way more buzz than the PS3 wand, which seems like Sony's way of "keeping up with the Joneses". Plus, they'll probably advertise WAY better and they have a better reputation than Sony.

Not to mention, the slim will probably be more expensive than the phat, which likely won't see any price drops. Of course, the only evidence supporting either the slim or the price drop is sketchy, at best, and fake, at worst.

Err... Wii?

The "assumed" $299 slim seems unlikely to me... perhaps a $349 one?

why go through all the trouble of making the slim if it's only $50 cheaper

Slim impact is extremely overrated, not only that but Sony is not the only company that can release a slim....

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

The Natal will sell better.

I do think the slim ill have more of an impact

Here's another question, why go through the trouble of making a new PSP(Go!), which is smaller and lighter, and make it more expensive?
