I think Bully used the Gamebryo engine though. My favorite engine. ^^

Who needs optimizing when PC gamers are all supposed to have uberrigs, right? All games have PCs like shio, right?

You're right, it does. I must admit after seeing the kicking it got from various PC mags, I never bothered to try it out. Must have just been a shoddy port then, as the Gamebryo engine's generally pretty sound.

Low minimum specs, I can run it fine. My bro will be pleased to hear that

I'd get the benchmark tool I linked to above to make sure, zexen_lowe. Sometime minimum specs are a tad optimistic.

My rig handled the benchmark well on high settings. The one scene test was around 30 FPS and the one that had numerous gameplay scenes resulted of FPS in the mid 50's with hardly, if any, dips in performance in either test.

wow if i would like to play this game on recommended specs i would have to pay 1200+$ to build my pc rig and then i have to buy new monitor cause my own don't support anything higher than 1024x768 so that's another 200$.
so i have to spend 1400$(not including 360 controller) to be ably to play it? that's bullshit. i can pay 300$ for 360 with 2 games, another 300 for 22-24'' monitor and i'm good to go - that's just 600$! 800$ less than that pc rig and in the next 4 years i still will be playing new games with decent graphics while that pc rig won't do to play them on minimum specs.

As this generation progresses, the more console developers achieve from console CPUs the more a PC port will require from the PC CPUs as well. Its been a pretty steady progression, especially for the bigger budget games like the above.

Tease.

The only reason I am getting this crappy game is because there will surely be some sick mods that will either make the game much better or change the game for the better. Gotta love the modding scene ;)

Wow waron, you need to find a better place to buy PC parts. Not trying to start an argument although it seems that you are  ;)
Recommended specs to match a brand new PC would cost $800 or $1000 if you didn't have anything and wanted to start from scratch.
This would create a very nice gaming PC that would exceed the recommended specs and play any game for the next 4 years just fine.
Thats not even including all the other great things PCs offer like mods, apps, free games and more control options.
360 + hdtv + wireless adapter + controllers + online yearly fee = around $800 not including all the DLC updates you pay for  ;)

It seems like you are trying to dramatize this a little too much or you are just another fanboy.
I have all the consoles except for one and love all gaming, but its sad to see others try to downplay a very legitimate gaming platform.
Sorry for the rant, at work and bored   ;)

I was very pleased with my benchmarks-

E6750 cpu

512MB 8800 GT

4 gigs RAM

Vista (thus benchmarked with DX 10)

1680x1050, with everything on high gave me 62 fps average in the variable benchmark

The same with 8x anti-aliasing gave me 42 fps average. At no time did it drop below 30 fps. Not bad for a 2 year old rig which was hardly cutting edge at the time it was bought.

I'm really impressed with Capcom. RE5 looks very nice and, by some accounts, SF4 for the PC looks to be the definitive version. I think I'll be picking both of them up in the near future.
