Yamauchi keeps saying GT5 is pretty much finished and that we'll be seeing it sooner than we think. Sony have unusually high hardware projections for rest of the year that couldn't be achieved without a major exclusive.

C'mon guys, put the pieces together


You certainly have a point here. I guess we'll have to wait for a TGS announcement at the lattest.

I'm not arsed personally... I'll be getting both.

Well i was talking to my brothers baby moms, mom's boyfriend and he was saying to me that he has a 360 and he thinks its good., he also said that he would have gotten a ps3 had it not been so dear.

 

He was telling me how he cannot wait to get GT5. I said to him you do know that game only comes out for the ps3. He went mad and went on to say that he is getting a ps3 when gt5 comes out.

 

In short i bet the is more then 1 person who will do the same.

he told me that GT5 would be out for the 360 because resident evil, devil may cry and all that are on it. Now he is comming to the dark side this xmas when GT5 hits lol

Xbox 360 will always come up in threads that involve the PS3 it is the direct competition.
Forza 3 will always come up in thread that invovle GT5 as it too is the direct competition.

GT5 may come out before Forza 3 this will have a direct impact on sales and so is a valid discussion.
GT5 is regarded as a system seller which in turn will affect the PS3 and 360.

I must say, I agree with this 1,000,000%. That's ALL you see now. There's never decent conversations anymore, and veteran posters have stopped posting as much because of it.

Who cares what sells more. Beyond that,  this thread has NOTHING to do with Forza 3, but whatever. It's just the same ol' thing again and again.

OT: Would be great if GT5 hit this year. It would complete my Holiday 2009 purchase list!

CGI- thats what i ws trying to say.. how did forza even come up? then we get xbox fans saying this and sony fans saying that. ALl i said was why is forza in a sony thread? makes no sense.

Yes but this was in reference to a "supposed" release date of GT5, not GT5 and Forza 3. What each sells should be discussed in the SALES discussion, not the Sony discussion. The mention of Forza 3 in the S-O-N-Y discussion is obviously asking for trouble.


A release date BEFORE Forza 3 I cannot see how you can have a discussion about a release of a game that up until now was not going to be around until 2010 without mentioning that obvious point.

I have not intentionally mentioned Forza 3 in this thread up until my earlier comment but people who bang on about Fanbots of one type and another should realise this is going to happen. It is as sure as Eggs is Eggs.

Does not make it right but that is the way the cookie crumbles. Looking on the flip side everybody gets GT5 early Yeah! (subject game availability).

I think GT5 should be ready for this yr release.. The reason is that this yr it will be 3 yrs for PS3 launch and for a first party developers who have development kit before the launch of PS3 and have access to all the latest and best compiler and game engine technologies for PS3, this is absolutely not acceptable to take so much time to release a game.. and one of the PS3 identifying game..

By launching GT5P, i think its clear that GT5 has solid foundation and i think GT5P is more like a beta for GT5, so this beta is getting annoyingly long.. Moreover the team working on a specific project should be able to see the result to give them motivation for the next project.

If a project gets too long its never going to be a success. like Too Human.. i can say from experience that its good to release and get feedback than continue working on something for too long in ur cubicle.
