You know you'll rehret this later when the wii gets more games

ty. but i probably wont be interested. kind of more into the 360 now. every1 that lives around me plays 1, that was probably a factoring decision. every1 i no has a 360, so i bought one last jan.

so basicaly you sell your wii for a 360 due to peer pressure? You'll say that now but when
their is a game excluesive to wii and you want it your going to say to yourself dang why did I sell
it?

Tag:I'm not bias towards Nintendo. You just think that way (Admin note - it's "biased".  Not "bias")
(killeryoshis note - Who put that there ?)
Switch is 9th generation. Everyone else is playing on last gen systems! UPDATE: This is no longer true. 2nd UPDATE: I have no Switch 2. I am now behind

First of all, what type of games do you like? I ask that not to be smart but because you are not going to get full return on your investment and there still might be something in the Wii catalog that might appeal to you.

Second, if you do decide to sell -- which is your right -- sell locally and sell soon. It just feels like there is going to be a price drop. And if Nintendo drops it $50, the used value drops by $50 plus.

yea, im trying craigslist. And i am aiming b4 school starts, ty 4 that. Well i dont want to be the loner/one of limited wii owner in my area, probably have limited time neways for video games, but if i have a chance, ill stick to the 360.

@ patriot - i am not bored with the wii. the games just dont appeal to me. sure its all childish mostly, but it only has a few mature games vs more on the 360. Sorry if im not the extreme gamer type, people have certain degrees of taste. I dont expect a person with plays video games to be the all-around type, some may be casual but im leaned to the hardcore side. I have nothing against the wii, I probably dont love it but it doesnt mean i hate it at the same time.

@ killer - i would like to play the same system as my peers, funner to play and talk about the same video games i guess. no peer pressure, this is my decision. nobody told me to sell my wii, i still have it packaged in the box. idc about exclusives, but ill leave that deicison to the gamnig business. I'll prob have a chacne to still play the wii, i just wont have one of my own anymore, but thats ok.

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

WOW, people grow up. Read the entire topic if you are going to post something negative, give him a break he is just selling his Wii.

And @PATRIOT7ME - Wow yeah do you think I hated the Wii and thats why I sold it? Of course I regret it, the Wii has a lot of good games. Don't treat me like a Wii hater lol.

shut it . The guy isn't even really giving this thing a chance.

Why did you sell? oh please stop hiding. I'm getting  sick of these selling their wii because it is boring. Yet they only have a few games for it and don't even bother to look at VC or Wiiware .

It's just a game console and he is choosing to sell it. I sold mine over 2 years ago because there were hardly any good games out for it. If I could change that decision, I would in a heart beat because of all the games out now. SSBB wasn't even out yet.

And this guy already stated he has played many more games than he has owned, give him a break.

He's not flaming the Wii or saying it sucks or anything, he just wants to sell it.

Yeah it wasn't so hot in the beginning but that why I played VC and GCN games on wii while waiting for some. IF you  guys just play some of my old games you guys wouldn't be stinking bored.

Please He doesn't own them and he hasn't finished them 100% or anything.

he just wants to sell because He is an old school hater

Look at my game collection, I freakin have 100s of classic games lol. And not on the VC. Although I did buy Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Super Mario 64 on it. I beat SM64 on it. *sigh*

OH! NOW it is childish. It isn't a kids console you do dummy how dare you say I'm a little kid. YOu ever heard of Madworld, House of the Dead, Manhunt 2,, No more heroes, and etc those are very violent games  they all have lotts of blood and gore.  You don't know what the heck you are talking about.  You hardxcore? Please is nothing but a FPS console while the wii has different types of hardcore

Instead of making money off selling you wii you could sold of your classic games to a collector. Really it harder to find old consoles or games still working

The consensus is that you will get around two hundred dollars from a reseller like Gamestop. For your console in mint condition with two games. However with promotional offers you may be able to get better value in merchandise depending on the promotional offers on the table at the time. Really it is a question of which you would prefer cash in hand or merchandise in hand.

This isn't necessarily a major question for me personally. I intend to sell my Wii, and reinvest it into my entertainment budget. That means I would probably spend the cash on games or accessories for my other console anyway. So I would feel very satisfied if I can liquidate one console and a couple games, and net eight or nine games in the transaction.

Right now I am just waiting for a good alignment of promotional offers and software I really desire. Though I see the need for a wireless adapter for my 360 in the next couple weeks. So I may have to go in a little sooner then I would have liked. I may have to get a bit more creative about what I want.

Nah I am pretty much a collector myself sort of, but don't get me wrong I will definitely buy a Wii again but not for a while. I just bought my Gamecube.
