Forums - Nintendo - I need a price checl on selling my Wii system

Well, I want to say thanks to the vgchartz community for giving me advice on he latest gaming news available at the time when I purchased my new Wii. Well as I grew older, the Wii doesn't sattisfy my gaming needs anymore and so I have officially decided to sell it.

Didn't no what forum to put this on, but I would like to request the price check on the following items (all together if possible):

1x Wii system (includes 1 Wiimote and Nunchuck)

1x Copy of Zelda: Twilight Princess

1x Copy of Super Smash Bros Brawl

All the items are in very good condition and still working perfectly. The wii console was bought on launch and it includes the Internet Channel.

EDIT: OOPS! I meant check, not checl

Update on 8/10/2009.:

I managed to sell my Wii for $200 alone and ssbb for $25. So in total, I made $200 on both of those items (after additional costs). I feel pretty proud to make this transaction and it was a difficult decision in doing so but during these times, I would not be satisfied in playing the wii as often as I liked to as I moved on to the 360. I guess I can say is just more people around me either play the 360 or not so I am aimply joining the party. I could have a wii party of my own but I guess no1 would be pretty interested as they are already hooked on to playing the 360 for a very long time. Sorry for nintendo fans, but I guess some decisions have to be made and I am simply not a big wii fan as most others are but learninig from the practices of economics, it pays more for something to keep vs something to sell.

Above I'm a proud Gran Turismo fan, not a Sony fanboy, and now a proud 360 owner, but sharing xbox live accts ATM

End of 2009 Predictions (made Jan 1, 2009): My predictions were pretty accurate, the 360 was over and the Wii was just under.

Wii: 65 mil (yea I'm crazy) 360: 35 mil (its getting there) PS3: 30 mil (the slim better do well)

End of 2010 Predictions (made Jan 7, 2010):

Wii: 81 mil  360: 47 mil PS3: 45 mil

You honestly expect someone on this board to support your move to sell your Wii. Also seeing as your a Sony fan is this actually a legit question? Some may think you are just bashing the Wii.Well though I don't support your decision. I have an estimate based on how much they sell for used.
Wii - 199$
SmashBros:Brawl/LOZ:Tp - 25$

These are the prices I just saw in my fleemarket, you might not get as much trading the console and games in at EBGames!

I suggest selling your Wii yourself in the news paper or in a local flee market. You'lll probubly get alot more for it!

There was very very little news at all on this website when the Wii launched, and that is ignoring that your account was created much later than this (you could of course be a very old member using a different account, but that doesn't explain how you got news from this website when the Wii launched)

I would also question anything being able to satisfy gaming needs when you only buy 2 games for it... so I am assuming there is some info missing here.

No offence but age really shouldn't play a role in your decision to sell your Wii. Their are plenty of adult games for the Wii certainly more then on your PS3. I'd say pick up MadWorld, The Conduit and a couple other hardcore games, you'll find them pretty fun. Also considering the Wii is only three years old how could you have grown out of gaming that quickly?

I suggest rather then selling your Wii you should buy more software maybe give it some virtual console love etc..etc..

That must have been back when supply was poor, because Wii + remote + 4 games is not that much more than $400 new.

TWRoO is absolutly right. I can buy a new Wii any time I want for 279.99$. Stores all have them in stock now. I can even buy a used Wii for 199$ at my local fleemarket and I've seen them going for even less in the pawn shops and at some game specialty stores. I've seen Wiimotes bundled with Nun-Chucks for sale at a pawn shop for 20$ and four used games (Not at EBGames) but another specialty store called Willow Video Games only fetch about 20$ each used or 49.99$ used!

So for a new console , four new games (Assuming they're Nintendo first party) and an extra Wiimote = 530CDN. So I guess it is still cheaper to buy the console used. Depending on how much Wiiware/VC games were on it , it sounds like a good deal to me!

hm. tell me what you eventually decide the price to be.

All things considered, if you're looking to sell- by all means do not sell to gamestop. They'll undercut your profits.

You can try craigslist (for local people) or ebay/amazon. The system itself should sell for about 200 and the games are about 25 each. So you're looking at 250 in total

y dont u donate it instead? gonna make some kids happy.
