Forums - Sony - Do you want a PSPTouch

I guess i'm asking people if the really want one and without buttons.

For me i think i want buttons and a touch screen.

My reasoning is i wear out the buttons even on my controlers because i press the buttons too hard. Or i get frustrated and press harder. I thought about this more because of the iphone. I saw how you use the controles and i just think i would break my iphone. (Which i don't have one, I like flip phones)

So what i would want are buttons for the gaming part of it but for like scrolling around the menu to pick music, movies, and the game you want to play i would want a touch screen.

Also seeing how some of the games play with a touch screen i think it would be game breaking for me because it doesn't seem smooth enough. Like i wated the Resident Evil 4 iphone game and that just looked to frustrating. I want an analog nub, two of course, and buttons.

So what do you all want in the next PSP. I really think they are introducing the Go because they want the second PSP to be digital and they are going to try it with the Go first so if it doesn't work out they will go back to hard media.

OMG....lightning returns...just touch screen no, with buttons yes

No we need buttons, and that would only shorten the battery life.

So no buttons at all and how would motion work in a handheld? Like sixaxis?

I want buttons and 2 analogues for gaming and a touch sreen for the non gaming. And also want L2 and R2 triggers.

it would be nice for the web browser and interface.

but i want my games with with buttons.

second analog and R2 L2 should buttons first.

I forgot about the R2 and L2 buttons. I wonder how they could do that? Wouldn't that make the new PSP bigger?

No, that would be a great idea. They'll make it big enought to play but not to small.

If they make the battery in a touch PSP bigger then sure, otherwise it'll have like 2 hour battery life.
