Me and my brother used to share a Ps3 and i just got another ps3 for myself. My questions are can i transfer my old username to my new ps3? and if I do does my brother have to make another one? Also I can i transfer data of games to my new ps3 somehow? Thanks!!!

If you mean data like saved data then you can transfer it with a usb.

Ya saved data from games. So i don't have to start over a game again.

you can use the same sign in name, and when you sign in on PSN you just use your same details from your old ps3, as for game save's i think you can just use a memory stick

You can transfer your PSN account using the email address and password that you used when you created the account, this will also transfer your friends and trophy collection.

As for saved games, just insert an external storage device into your PS3, go to "Saved Data Utility" (or something like that), press triangle on the saves you wish to transfer, and then select "copy", you can then plug the device into your new PS3 and move all the save data into there.
