If nintendo, sony or MS stepped out of the console market where would there fans go... we've already seen that with SEGA, a lot of their fans joined with Nintendo fans... where would the nintendo fans go to, who's consoles would the sony boys buy and where would the 'xboy's' get their FPS fix from...?

Nintendo has the largest dedicated fanbase as far as I know and I have no idea where those guys would go. Mind you with them there Nintendo has the ability to stay in the console wars even when they screw up (See: Gamecube).

Sony fans and 'Xbots' would probably go to the other one of those two that didn't go down in my opinion.

If Microsoft exited the console market but continued to make software for the other 2 consoles, I could see them doing it on Nintendo's consoles. Heck they are doing it already... Microsoft is very much like Sega of the past (fanbase wise) and we all know how that ended.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.

i think that the 360 fans would split evenly... the ones who want their traditional fps fix wuld go PS3 and the one's that don't mind a slightly different FPS style would go Wii... but they'd definintly be pissed at both the Wii and PS3's weak online...
