Oh yes, I loved having to blow into my games to get them to function. Good times.

You do realise that the moisture in your breath coroded the connections? So by blowing you shortened the life of the cartridge.

So in order to make my cartridges work I had to slowly destroy them?

Pretty much, though an aircan would have done better for you.

Tease.

Well it's segas fault for using outdated technology in the sega genesis.

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

We should all just use non-rewritable (HC)SD cards. Period. For all games. It would be so much easier, and scratches wouldn't be a problem...

Loading screens build character by teaching you patience. Why would you want to deny game developers the privilege of leaving a positive mark on society?

Because Society is a decadent rotting wasteland far beyond saving.

I cry myself to sleep thinking about it.

Well I miss cartridges from like the SNES on up. The NES days sucked. Dunno if it was the carts, the system, or both. But getting a game to start up was a task in of itself.

Well, the first design of the NES sucked, I remember all the difficulting I had getting games to work.

But the small NES 2 is great, all my games work very easily.

Well atleast you have something to get you to sleep. I wish I could cry to sleep rather be in a state of insomnia.

Cartridges could make a comeback in the form of flash drives or massive flash memory for games, since those are cheaper to make. We won't need cartridges the size of the n64 or SNES anymore, though.

this actually depends on the developers.
games like killzone 2 have only one load time then nothing because guerrilla optimize the game to run from the disc. it doesn't even need an installation.
RE 5 have 1-2s load time due installation

and providing 7.1 and HD quality.

load times are due slow read and write speeds of the CD/DVD/Blu ray.
but now things can be installed removing that problem, or even optimized like killzone 2 to run off the disc.
