That's another down side of Blu-Ray. HD-DVD had their version of Blu-Ray's 2.0 profile from nearly the beginning and nearly all of them were network ready if not all of them. That and they were cheaper as well as the discs were cheaper. It's a really big shame HD-DVD didn't win out. But I'm digging up old bones here

Watch Sleeping Beauty on Blu-ray and you'll quickly change your tune. It's stunning and a HUGE improvement over the DVD. Assuming you have an HD set, obviously.

I do have an HD set, as well as an upscaling DVD player (Blu-Ray player, actuall). For any cartoon I don't think I'd fork over the extra cost on. Some slightly better colors and sharper edges aren't worth it to me.
