uncharted 2 will beat killzone 2 sales in teh frist week.
its a better game the contolls are awesome the online is great,
its every thing killzone 2 should have been
i was really hyped for kilzone 2 but after a few times it was good not great
but i still play killzone 2

kz2 is great IMO. A lot of things to like about it and only a couple things I disliked. Overall the positives far outweigh the negatives

Y'know, if said fans were that many and that relevant not just overblown, they would have all bought it and it would have sold more. It's too bad that such people are either a minute, niche, irrelevant (relative to the big picture) bunch or they were all talk and no action and didn't even buy a game they somehow expected to move gazongas.

I don't think Uncharted 2 is going to outsell the first one. It may outsell KZ2 however.

I think U2 will do better, if a slim/pricecut is announced. It might have better legs as opposed to better opening week

I think Uncharted 2 sales will be pretty good during the first month of its release. The game will most likely see an increase in sales towards black friday. This game is most likely to hit past 2 million faster than Killzone 2 will because the release of the game is close to the holidays season.

Uncharted 2 will probably have a modest opening but I'm sure it will have very nice legs and I can see selling over 3 million copies. On the contrary Killzone 2 had a great opening but bad legs, in fact its sales are underwhelming.

Uncharted 2 will be bigger:

1. It's successor to one of best current gen games unlike being successor to average past gen title
2. It releases in Q4 instead of much slower Q1.
3. It doesn't compete directly with big name shooters (yes you are shooting a lot but it takes a lot of TR elements)

I'd be surprised if Uncharted 2 didn't outperform Killzone 2.

Uncharted was popular on PS3, even allowing for bundling, and with the addition of MP plus Coop, an apparently even longer, bigger and better SP campaign plus even sweeter environments and gameplay, so I find it hard to believe most people who have a copy of Uncharted wouldn't pick up the next installment.

Killzone 2 was of course released on the back of good sales for Killzone, but it was the first in the franchise on PS3, and of course Killzone had a more lukewarm critical reception than Uncharted, so I think Uncharted 2 has all the ingredients to do very well.

If it doesn't open strongly then I'll just be flat out astonished and unsure what titles PS3 owner's actually want.
