In the gameplay videos I have seen the Rookie is shooting the brutes? But I thought the changing of the guard hadn't happened yet!

 

Why are they being so anal to their own canon?

Their should be elites in the campaign, the elites hadnt even scismed yet!

 

Tell me if I am wrong or seeing things please!

This game takes place right before Halo 3. The Elites split from the Covenant in Halo 2.

So it makes sense that the Elites don't fight against you on the Covenant's side.

I was hoping for Elites and then read a timeline and realized there wasn't. Yellow Elites with swords from Halo: CE were the best.

Man I miss fighting Elites too.  There's just something about destroying an Elite that is so much more fun than fighting Brutes.  And i hope to god there aren't any flood in the game (or Halo: Reach for that matter)

I hope we see the science faction of the covenant.  And hopefully new vehicles.
