Well i did alittle research - Agoraphobia is an anxiety disorder, often precipitated by the fear of having a panic attack in a setting from which there is no easy means of escape. Sony usually only ban first offenders for a short period of time- around a week. You're sent an email explaining that your misconduct was in breach of the rules laid down in the online user agreement - threatenting behaviour, sexual harrassment or racial comments/slurs etc.

You can also be banned from specific online services, like the RFOM online service for example. You would still be able to play other games and use other online services during that time though.

You can usually just make another account to bypass these type of bans.

Agoraphobia or not, it doesn't give him the right to act like a complete jackass on a game which it's pretty blatant he would have done to get banned. He's using his disability as an excuse for his morally low actions, if I were the judge I'd charge him the bill for Sony's lawyers to answer this farce of a case. Honestly I have no sympathy for anyone who gets banned from Sony or Microsoft for trash talking and abusive language towards other members of a service, or indeed cheeters might I add, good riddance they add very little to the community.

The only way this will hold up is if the guy proves sony caused his disorder.

I know its terrible playing online, everyone just reports you. This guy should get all his money back even more. It's true in online games the mods are mostly biased and pull some bs.
