After hours of trying, I still cannot defeat the shadow queen in PM:TTYD. I have no healing items except a power shroom(+50) and the item that increases 40 FP. All my partners are max level, and I have 50HP. I have no other items, and a bad combination of badges. I have tried at leat 6methods to beat the Queen but I cannot. Is it possible for me to do it without any items/badges? Anyone have any suggestions or help?

Bring Mario's HP to 5. To do so, go in the sewer near that old dude's house in the main city (wow, I can't remember any of the names in this game!), then go left into that pipe and into a kind of fortune-telling house.

After that, equip those badges that increase your attack when your health is in the critical state. You should be doing enormous amounts of damage now. Also, equip those badges that increase your dodging when your health is in the critical state. You will not get hit by her, I tell you!

I thought I was intelligent when I found out about this little game abusing trick, but apparently it was on the net for a long time...! >_>

And I'm guessing you only have one save file, right? Hmmm... I guess all you can rely on now is luck?

Yes you can go back it's just...very...very...tiring...that's what I did when I couldn't beat her...

I rememebr her being pretty easy actually..

Use velma's firey jinx as it kills all of her hands instantly and leaves her vunerable to attack.

The best partner is Vivian, especially Fiery Jinx. At some point in the battle, I think once the second part starts, you will automatically get three Shine Sprites in a row. Just before you get your third, use Supernova. Then you can use Supernova again. That's 30HP gone at almost no cost.

Then just use Power Bounce with as many Power Plus badges as you have, and Fiery Jinx to destroy the hands.

Go back to town, fill your inventory with Life Shrooms and collect more badges/BP.

Just get ultra jamming and ultra shroom cook them together. Also have power bounce. You'll want ultra jamming and get more. Also use everyone's stredgy mix with mine., Look at my walthrough for more info
