Here is the relatively simple truth which seems too unfathomable to comprehend:

Anyone can type whatever they want on Wikipedia. Anonymity of the internet. Wikipedia is not a very accurate source of information. What occurs on other sites on the internet they can say what they like about other websites.

In regards to the credibility of VGChartz noone can question the site on VGChartz. Being a guest on any website you can not say anything negative or critical of the website.

VGChartz sets out providing the public free sales data for games and consoles and it does a good job.

Whatever, id like to see a site better than VG Chartz.

well VGC does have its moments were the numbers are really off, but they are corrected

VGC is the best we have (for free), so who cares if they're occasionally way off? Its not like they don't get adjusted eventually anyway. "Close enough."
