Forums - Nintendo - Is anybody else experiencing bad lag problems in The Conduit?

It's very easy to mistake lag for hacking gits. Last night I thought I was experiencing a great deal of lag but when in spectator mode I saw that 2 little twats were sorting through walls to avoid capture in ASE Football and to get unfair kills in the bog standard deathmatch. Really bloody annoying. >:o(

I don't have any issues with framerate or lag at all. I just don't like cheaters, I was playing last night and some guy couldn't die.

I had another couple earlier on today. bloody annoying.

Huh. Do you guys think the hacking is so much a problem? I could've sworn what I was experiencing was lag, not hax!11

I have had mixed results, but mostly good in terms of lag and framerate.

I have been in a match recently that involved just two of us and one other that magically teleported all over the map. His red dot on the radar would warp from place to place so fast you could never get to him. He could not get to us either it would seem, as he would fire off a single shot or two and then be gone again. I do not know if this was a hack or a bug, but he did not appear to be in control of what was happening.

Wow, that is interesting. Not what I encountered but it sounds like another rare glitch they would have to work out.

I've had games like that too, and games where it looked like other players were moving through the walls. It's extremley frustrating, I don't bother playing anymore and will probably trade it in sooner than later. I much prefer COD:WAW online anyway.

huh?why?where you so naive to think the conduit would be the only unhacked game for the wii?Or you were just ignorant to know there are hacks for every wii online game?why the hell you didnt expect hackers?and they arent an issue. This game doesnt punnishes you for leaving a hackers game unlike Mario Kart or Call of Duty world at war.So you can leave anytime you want without a record problem.So...if you find a true hacker, just leave the game, is very simple and it doesnt happens too often.

About the lag issue, i dont have lag in the conduit But ive seen some players suffering from it online.

Well, therin lies the problem; I noticed that when leaving a game, it typically sends me right back to it when I try to connect to another. So that one's out the window.

I also wish I had your connection. Whenever I try to play Quake 3 on PC, I frequently get spikes of lag where it seems as though I've been disconnected and it just reconnects. This is entirely different from The Conduit, though, since outside of the spikes the ping's excellent.

I still don't think I have found a hacker... and I had no other problems today either.

The only "through wall" thing I see is sometimes a gun will poke through because someone is directly on the other side, I haven't seen anyone go all the way through. I have also never seen anyone on the ranking at the end with zero deaths, and have successfully killed some of the ones that had very high kill:death ratios (usually they have killed me 4 or 5 times to me killing them once, but it still proves they can die)

They can die, it's just that they can take an-natural shedload of damage before dying. Shotguns and explosive weapons are the best to spot them.

So no one here hasnt experienced the Black screen upon starting a match? Or unable to move while your gun spins round and round?

I have experienced these and I have fallen through the cracks of the world only to die. Only if going under the maps would result in COD WAW Wii I would be super ecstatic.

Conduit isnt for me. I will trade my copy soon.
