You don't have to delete it, just make a list for a gamer who hasn't owned an HD console before... but without genres to look at it, it is tricky

| Squilliam said: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=46919 Heres a thread with a bunch of game advice, its a little outdated so: Kameo (Cheap and fun action RPG) Condemned 1/2 (Cheap and really fun, FPS/Horror/Brawler the first is better IMO) Gears of War 1 (awesome shooter, really easy to play with Coop) Halo 3 (The esteemed master, easiest FPS to get 3 mates and yourself playing) Mass Effect (Shooter/WRPG hybrid, a little slow at the start but has an excellent story, also quite cheap) Oblivion (Excellent WRPG open world game with a ton of content, a steal at the price it is now and can be had in a double pack with Bioshock) Bioshock (Considered perhaps the best single player shooter this gen for atmosphere and story, also cheap) Project Gotham 3/4 (fun arcade racers and very cheap so little risk in trying them) Forza 2 (same as above, though Forza 3 is coming this year FYI) Crackdown (fun excellent open world sandbox shooter, very cheap atm) Dark Sector (Cheap, fun story but may lack replayability, 3rd person shooter) Lost Odyssey/Blue Dragon (Fun turn based JRPGs also reduced in price, made by creator of Final Fantasy Series) These are games which I know are cheap and have personally enjoyed. Its good to start with cheap games to fill out your collection, much better value IMO than full priced games. You may as well buy them new if they are cheap as used Xbox 360 games can be scratched and repaired and they may not work properly.

Thanks for the all the advice guys, I'm going to work out the maths of the deals and look at the reviews of the games.
I have The Orange Box, Oblivion and Bioshock for the PC (Q6600, 8800GTS) , they are all really good games but for the Xbox360 I'm looking for arcade Racers, local multiplayer split screen shooters (never ever played a FPS/TPS with a controller...I'm finally going to give it a shot with an open mind) and anything....different. cheap is always good.
I've never played a JRPG so I have no idea if I would like it or not...can I get a demo of Blue Dragon?
Playing : PC AOE, DiRT 2, Runes of Magic, Wings of Prey & Planetside 2
Wii U : Nintendoland, Super Mario U & Fifa 2013 demo
DS : Guitar Hero : On Tour

I'm almost sure there's a demo on xbl, I would say fable 2 and ninja gaiden 2
But war... war never changes
Fable 2 seems interesting..I liked Black and White so I have some faith in Peter M's games.
I just worked out the Amazon deal and it seems I can get the same bundle + a HDMI cable for £172 which is a really tempting deal, thanks for the tip Munkeh!

In that case you for shooters you should consider:
Gears of War 1/2 (2 player split screen coop/multi)
Resident Evil 5 (2 player coop SS)
Halo 3 (ditto)
Left 4 Dead (2 player split screen IIRC)
PGR 2/3 Forza 2 (Forza 3 has far better graphics/content and additional assists for new drivers with auto brake etc) 2 player split screen.
Kameo (split screen cheap)
Castle Crashers Arcade game (4 player hack n slash)
Street Fighter HD (Arcade game)
Dead or Alive 4 (Cheaper figher)
Virtua Figher and Soul Calibur (Cheaper fighter)
Fable 2 IIRC is a two player Coop WRPG game (IIRC)
Worms HD Arcade game (4 player game)
100 vs 1 quiz game (Up to 4 players from the console online from what I hear)
If you're new to the controller and shooters you should try Gears of War 1 first, its probably the easiest introduction to dual analogue controls for any shooter out there now and its a cheaper/excellent title.
Blue Dragon has a demo IIRC but im not sure if Lost Odyssey does sorry.
Thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
Tease.
