A bungie employee made a comment on how ODST has already hit 2 million in preorders in just NA for a game that doesn't even come out until the end of september.

Trust me it will be ALOT bigger than GT5: Prologue.

I still think Sony fans are getting their hopes up about GT5's sales a little bit too much.

Gran Turismo is an amazing franchise with steller sales but I honestly don't see it doing GT3 A-Spec numbers like your all trying to make it out. In order to do that it would have to either move a freaking TON of consoles or have a rediculous attatch rate. Personally I don't think the series (or any racing game for that matter) has that kind of selling power anymore.

People are over-estimating the racing sim market... Not that GT5 wont sell a boat load, but it will not sell like its predecessors. With hat in mind, it should outsell Halo ODST which is like a large expansion pack on Halo 3... Won't touch Halo 3's lifetime sales though.
