I would love another Persona, but four games in four years? I think the series needs a break for at least a year or two.

Good point. I desperately wish that Strange Journey is IV, and that would make the most sense, but some speculation is that it's another handheld game (i.e. DS 1st person dungeon crawler) due to the short time between its reveal and its release date. I guess we just have to wait and see. If it is IV, Persona 5 (if it's real) wouldn't be announced until after Strange Journey releases.

What tips me to say that Strange Journey is SMT4 is the fact that very few games are given the SMT subtitle at Japan. Atlus USA places the mark in every spin-off game, whereas Atlus Japan has only given it to the main titles with a few exceptions (like SMT NINE for Xbox or the MMORPG SMT Imagine)

So... unless Strange Journey is a SMT main spinoff... there is no reason for it to have the SMT name at Japan.

We will have to wait for the announcement on July 24 to know about this one.

I wouldn't mind Persona 5 so soon though... but I kinda hope for Persona 2 Innocent Sin and Persona 2 Eternal Punishment for PSP instead.

True. I had forgotten about that. I think the first Devil Summoner got the SMT title as well though.

Please, no more Personas. We had P3, FES, P4 and the PSP remake all in 2-3 years. Give me SMT IV already. If P5 does get announced, I hope it isn't a PS3 exclusive - don't feel like buying another one.

Like I said before... Atlus wouldn't risk another SMT title (or spinoff) after the severe failure SMT NINE had back in 2002. Heck... SMT games have more chances to appear on Wii than on Xbox360 at this point.

Anyway... Am I the only one hoping for P2: IS and P2: EP remakes for PSP instead of P5?

I manage to get a reprint copy of Persona 2: EP over at Amazon. Also I've been turned off by the new Persona 1 look, so I'm not hoping for a P2:EP remake. For IS, I suppose so. I never had the chance to play it since it wasn't released here.

Amazon doesn't ship games to my country, so I missed the PS: EP reprint.
But I'm actually more interested in Innocent Sin... I don't want to dowload the fan translated game. Heck... Im wishing the released both games in the same UMD (curse you PSP Go)
