True, I'm surprised that no-one has been saying this about the 48% increase in sales for the PS3 in the UK.

Everyone keeps mentioning the percentage and acting like it's a huge increase in sales but no-one has used the actual figures.

It is but if people are going to point out that a 20% difference in sales is only 10,000 then why aren't they also going to point out that a 43% increase in sales is only x amount?

I would like to know what the increase in actual sales was?

Did that week have those nice Killzone 2 bundles, and that Blu-ray bundle?

So the low PS3 sales are due to clearance stock making way for a slim PS3 and price cut which will be coming very soon to a store near you. PS3 are out of stock in a lot of stores worldwide.

This time next year PS3 will be in front of XBox 360 in life time sales. 360 is on its last legs and is fading away. PS3 with price cuts, long list of great games will surge pass the Xbox 360 in console sales. It is inevitable.

The Wii sells below 200k in a week again. What is up with that. Demand for Wii is slowing down? There was a time when people were saying Wii would never sell below 300k per week in worldwide sales.

360 sells under 120k in weekly console sales and retails for a basement price of $200. The sales are not good at all.

1, No, the PS3 sales are low because not many people are buying it because it doesn't offer the consumer with much more than the 360 which is half the price, the PS3 has been trying to clear stock since 2007 lol.

2, Since when? PS3's are not out of stock anywhere otherwise you would see news reports on gaming sites and threads on vgc etc, this has clearly not happened, demand for the ps3 is at an all time low at the moment.

3, Do you really believe this as I don't think many people will agree with you, there are too many hurdles in the way for the PS3 to match 360 sales and to overtake them on a regular basis is a different story and won't be happening anytime soon.

4, 360 on it's last legs? LMAO! the 360 is at an all time high, it's the only console this year which has seen year on year growth, ps3 and wii are down year on on year, 360 is up, what does this tell you? it tells me that the 360 is doing superbly at the moment and that the ps3 is suffering more and more, the 360 is on it's 4th year and still walking all over the PS3.

6, If the 360 sales are bad what does that make the PS3 sales? terrible i'd say, it's losing marketshare in all countries to the 360 and wii, it's down year on year, all hopes are resting on a ps3 slim, that isn't good no matter how you try and spin it, the slim models are meant to be a way for the console makers to make a lot of money on an already popular console not hope it will make a console successful, Sony putting all it's hopes into the PS3 slim could be a HUGE mistake, people will either love it or think it's just a cheap cash in with many features removed, *if* that happens the slim won't do very well, mark my words, then what happens when a 360 slim is released? it will do what the ps3 slim was meant to do (sell!).
