I just got Prince of Persia Today and i've been playing AC1 every once in awhile, but also only had AC1 for only about a month (Greatst hits Edtion) and i gotta say... Ubisoft is stepped up!

1. First thing i noticed with BOTH Prince of Persia and Assassins Creed 1, is ART-Style!!! DAMN, the art-style for these two franchises are sexy! For example, The Prince of this gen looks like he could be in a damn Final Fantasy game! and so does his partner Elika, pretty girl. As for Altiar he looks like he could have been in SoulCalibur IV (Why he wasn't who knows, but SCIV for PSP has a character with the new guys weapons from AC2 so... OMG Rip-Offs!) Even Still im VERY impressed with Ubisofts art-style, its JRPG-Like to say the least, (PoP mostly but still) the battle systems in both remind me of Drakengard and DMC to Chaos Legion games, im keeping my eye on Ubi from now on.

2. Graphics Styles, Ubi has Mastered both HD realistic graphics AND Beautiful Cell Shaded Painting-Like graphics, Ala Okami and Valkyria Chronicles! Well done Ubi!

3. Two awesome main characters! i dunno about AC2, but AC1's Altier (sp?) has one of the most badass adtitude's Since Kratos and Dante! As for the Prince, i didn't expect him to be so easy going and laid back, by the way he looked i expected a Vincent(Final Fantasy VII) Like character but still hes cool lol, and WHY does the Prince sound like Drake from Uncharted?! O_O

In Conclusion, Ubisoft is MUCH better THIS gen then last, i never expected Ubi to have Capcom or Namco Style elements in there games, and there not even japanese!!!

Definatly both games are good. Ubisoft has done well so far this gen.

ya they both had very good graphics but it terms of gameplay there both very repetitive

I wish they weren't so repetitive. Really annoyed me, especially in PoP.

PoP is great, AC was too repetitive for me to enjoy by the time I had to run through each city for a second time.

PoP is a terrible game, unlike Assassins Creed.

I hate both of those games quite a lot.

Both games are great. I liked Prince of Persia a bit more than Assassin's Creed, but that might just be my own bias - I've been a PoP fan for 20 years.

Also, Altaïr and The Prince are two of the best character designs this generation.

Yes both PoP and AC1 are VERY repetitive, been given the fact that the games them-selves take this into account its not as bad as it could have been.

PoP gets an 8 from me while AC1 gets a 7.
