Good choice for not buying the psp GO, i rather have a UMD drive and you can just buy a 16gb memory stick. Well yes there are inprovments like it feels a little lighter i think 38%, its very fragile so if you drop it your screwed. The screen is also brighter and will last longer. You can get an 8gb memory stick as cheap as $30-50. Also with a large AAA library of games in 2010.

PSP 3000 is a MAJOR improvement over the 1000, twice the RAM which means faster loading, a lot lighter, much better, trade your 1000 in, you'll be glad you did.

Yes its MAJOR difference, I really recommend a PSP 3000.

I'd guess about 50 bucks. Are you desperate to buy one now? If I was you I'd wait to get the Assassin's Creed bundle (or Gran Turismo bundle if they make one of those).

The RockBand bundle is good as well if you can't wait.

PSP 3000 is the newest psp available, the SLIM does not have a better screen or a microphone
