Hate is such a strong word, and there is no genre that attracts that kind of feeling from me. Still if I have to choose, objectively from the PoV of what genre's I've spent the most time playing I think its:

+1 for WRPGs and
-1 for Simulation

I think things could be a little different if the question was aimed solely at consoles, but if that was the case I'd probably be too late to vote because platformers have already been eliminated. I'm surprised they went so soon.
