This is very true and again I use skate. as an example. It has gotten very good reviews and is vastly different then tony hawk which gives gamers a true choice. Often games are just too similar that whichever one you pick won't really matter so you just pick the established one. Kane and lynch is supposed to be co-op as well as army of two so which one do you get? Both are new IP's and offer about the same amount of gameplay. Will be interesting to see how the reviews affect sales or which one has better marketing etc. The best I hope for is that most of the games are indeed very good and hopefully get picked up over time.
